Hi! My name is Christopher Mark Pedersen. In researching my family history, I came across your web page and much to my surprise - I found that we are related! My father is George Marcus Pedersen Jr. - Georg Pedersen's son, who's mother Hilda was Nils Broddesson-Broman's daughter, who's sister, Sissela, is your grandmother. I hope I got that right! So I think we are 2nd cousins, 3 times removed. I can't believe the wealth of information that you have - you have opened up a whole "branch" of my family tree! I have been working with some information & dates from Nils and Rita Broman via Ruth MacWilliams (Esters' daughter). I had the same information as you - as far back as Nils Kjellsson & Sissela Broddesdotter. I would like to know more about our family and how you came to get this information. I have been working on our family tree for the past two years and if you are interested, I have more information about Hilda and Ester's families. Background on myself - I was born in Greenwich, CT on Feb. 20th, 1962. I have one younger sister - Heidi. I am married, have two sons, Benjamin and Nathan and live in Sharon, Massachusetts, USA. Hi! I am sorry that I have not gotten back to you. I have been very busy at work and have not had much free time. I have talked to my family and they are very interested in sending to you the Hildur Broman family information. You mentioned that the data should be in a text file. I will transfer this information over in to that format. First I have to finish up some the information - I will try and get this information to you within the next couple of weeks. I do have a few questions - First, where or what is Orahult? Where or what is Oderljunda? and why is there a (L) after it? Second, do you have any information as to why Hildur and her four sister came to the United States? I assume it was around 1900. Also, where did the name Broman come from, I don't understand how.
