Birth: May 20, 1875, Sweden Death: Sep. 8, 1946 McPherson County Kansas, USA Published September 1946 Little River Monitor OBITUARY Aron Fritz Carlson passed away about 10:30 a.m. September 8, 1946 at the home near Windom, Kansas. He was born May 20, 1874 in Hjmalsryd, Smoland, Sweden. At the age of 13 years, he came to the home of his sister near Windom. Later he, with Gus Swanson and Bill Olson, operated a store in Windom. He was married to Ebba Holmstedt, November 3, 1910 in McPherson, Kansas. Five children were born to this union. All are still living. He has been farming many years near Windom. He belonged to the Andover Lutheran Church and the A.O.U.W. Lodge. He had a smile for everyone and the welfare of his family came first. He was a good husband, father and friend. Survivors are the widow, Ebba Everett, of Windom; Mabel Snell of Little River; Carl, of Hutchinson; Leota Crowl of Mitchell; Floyd, at the home and six grandchildren; Shirley and Sheldon Snell; Warren and Judy Carlson; Delores and Michael Crowl, other relatives and a host of friends.
